Mount Vernon Rescue Sale: Cathy Cable and Irene Goff set up a table at the Rescue sale with labels, note cards and postcards for people to sign. Many people stopped and wrote notes. Some of the children drew pictures and one wrote a poem. Some people donated money for postage. The notes and messages were put into the boxes containing clothing, blankets, stuffed animals and kitchen utensils - and sent off to the 133rd EB in Iraq. Thanks!  More pictures (PDF file).
